Anti-Oxidant

Many of the constituents in pomegranate seed oil are powerful antioxidants.  This means it protects against sun and pollutant damage.  This can also slow the appearance of aging.

Joints

Inflamed and\or arthritic joints can benefit from rubbing pomegranate seed oil into the joint.

Acne

It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties that are great in the treatment of acne.  The linoleic acid in pomegranate keeps sebum levels in control.

Cancer

Research has found that pomegranates have been found to inhibit breast, colon, prostrate and lung cancers.  Every study studied a different mechanism of action. This could mean that there are several actions the pomegranate uses to fight cancer.  One way is that it inhibits blood vessels from forming to feed cancer cells.  It interrupts the cell cycle when cancer cells are trying to multiply.  And it causes fully formed cancer cells to die.
